Souvenirs du Moyen-âge

The film Souvenirs du Moyen-âge — été 2018 is part of an ongoing series, constituted by portraits of my relatives, pieces of memories and documents of contexts and activities in the countryside in France that are slowly disappearing as a result of modernization and capitalism. The music is a walz by Fryderyc Chopin, played by Dinu Lipatti in his last recital in Besançon in 1950, on my grandmother's piano.
