Whether You Stay

A town where Mt. Fuji is a natural part of daily life. A man breaks up with his girlfriend who moves to Tokyo and stays in his hometown. A woman whose dream of leaving this town has not come true.... Eight people who feel trapped in a loop of their normal lives face their normal happiness. Can they believe that today is 1mm better than yesterday? Set in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, this feature-length film was produced by recruiting actors from an acting workshop. The film also features Matae Tomite of The Naked Director 2 and the drama Kurosagi fame. Shohei Kamimura (Vo) of THREE1989, who wrote the theme song, is also taking on his first acting challenge.
