The Call

In The Call, a transgender woman receives a phone call from her brother, so as to attend their mother’s funeral; under one condition. The drama is hence transposed to a whole different setting, reframing the discussion about gender and human relationships, and focusing on the vexed issue of the patriarchal foundations of the Greek/Cypriot family.
